


PIANO TEACHER NEEDED

Seeking piano teacher for spring/summer
Possibility of permanent position afterwards
Ages 6-Adult.
Lessons taught at park district building. Piano provided.
SCHEDULE
1/2 hour lessons.
You choose the day or days you want to work as well as the hours with some restrictions.
Teaching is typically restricted to hours after school day from 3:30PM - 9:30PM, as well as some weekend hours.
For example, you may to choose only Monday from 4:00PM - 7PM which falls within the available teaching hours.
The organization handles administrative activites including booking/scheduling lessons and collecting payments. You simply get the schedule, teach, and follow up with parents as necessary. Students sign up for several weeks at a time so your schedule and pay are quite predictable. Typically, changes only occur if more students are added during the course of a session (sessions are multiple weeks: spring/sumer session, fall session, winter session).
PAY
You will be a contractor paid every two weeks.
approx. $32/hour. may be higher depend on experience.
For the past few years, the current teacher has taken home $108-$175 per day depending on how full the schedule is for the multiple week session.
